Climate HOME
Alaska's southeast coast is compsed of a mainland portion which borders Canada's British Columbia as well as numerous islands. The climate of this region is quite mild compared to most other regions of Alaska with relatively warm winters and cool summers. This area also experiences some of the highest rainfall totals in the state. All of the observing stations here are situated at or near sea level, or less than 110 feet.
